/ The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported on Monday that negotiations to release the fourth batch of prisoners as part of the prisoner exchange deal are still continuing until the moment and no agreement has been reached.

Netanyahu’s office said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “Negotiations regarding the list of names of Israeli hostages that Hamas is preparing to release today are still ongoing at the moment, and no agreement has been reached in this regard, and we are trying to outline this regard.”

The statement added: “We are well aware of the amount of tension prevailing between families and we will publish additional information when possible, and we demand that we refrain from spreading rumors and unreliable information.”

Last Friday, a 4-day humanitarian truce began, after 49 days of war on the Gaza Strip, during which 50 Israeli prisoners were exchanged for 150 Palestinian prisoners (women and children), and humanitarian aid and fuel were allowed to enter the Gaza Strip.

On the first day, Hamas released 13 Israeli prisoners, 10 Thai citizens and one Filipino, and Israel in turn released 39 prisoners (women and children) from its prisons.

On the second day, the Israeli Prison Service said that 39 Palestinians (women and children) had been released in exchange for Hamas’ release of 13 Israeli prisoners and 4 Thai detainees.

On the third day, the movement released 13 prisoners, in addition to 4 other detainees from outside the agreement, while Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners (women and children) from its prisons.
