Gardaí are investigating an alleged serious sexual assault of a girl in Dublin. Five juveniles were arrested and questioned in connection with the incident earlier this week.

The investigation is being conducted by a garda divisional Protective Services Unit in the city.
Five juveniles were arrested and questioned early this week regarding the alleged assault. They were interviewed by specialist garda child interviewers and have since been released without charge.
The victim, a schoolgirl, reportedly met up with a number of other juveniles in Dublin city recently before the alleged attack occurred. She has been interviewed by gardaí and alleged she was the victim of a serious sexual assault.
