Iran War Warning: “All-Out War” Response to Attack

Iran warned Friday that it would treat any attack against it as an all-out war, as a U.S. military aircraft carrier strike group and other assets move closer to the region.

Iran Threatens Response to Attack

A senior Iranian official stated the country’s military is on high alert and prepared for the “worst-case scenario” in response to the U.S. military buildup. The official, speaking anonymously, expressed hope that the military movements were not intended for confrontation.

“This time we will treat any attack – limited, unlimited, surgical, kinetic, whatever they call it – as an all-out war against us, and we will respond in the hardest way possible to settle this,” the official said.

Former President Trump also warned Iran, stating the U.S. has “a massive armada” heading toward the region. He added that he previously threatened Iran with airstrikes if the country carried out planned hangings of protesters and political dissidents, and that Tehran backed down as a result.
