Beyond the immediate border conflict, European nations are coordinating on maritime security. The French defense minister stated that European countries possess the necessary capacity to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
The situation remains fluid as displaced people begin returning to their homes in the southern suburbs of Beirut following the 10-day truce.
