Leading Life Science Orgs Unite for Second London Bio-Innovation Week

One Nucleus, The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS), and ELRIG are joining forces to connect their networks through cross-event partnering during the second London Bio-Innovation Week, scheduled for December 7–11, 2026. The collaboration aims to facilitate multi-event networking and partnering opportunities for life science companies, academic researchers, bio-entrepreneurs, investors, and advisers across the UK’s capital city.

Building on the inaugural 2025 event, the initiative unites a series of independently organized gatherings. To support participants seeking new collaborations, organizers are opening the One Nucleus Genesis conference partnering app—which was used by roughly 400 attendees in 2025—to both attendees and non-attendees.

Connecting the Life Science Community

The timed coordination of these independent events allows participants to engage with a broader cross-section of London’s life science community. Attendees and non-attendees alike can access the Genesis app to find peers, start conversations, and arrange meetings for onward collaboration.

“Collaboration sits at the core of translating world leading bioscience research into new ventures developing innovative products and technologies to improve patient outcomes,” said Tony Jones, CEO of One Nucleus.

Leadership Perspectives

Organization leaders emphasized the value of bringing disparate networks together to foster innovation and accelerate research.

Some of the most valuable connections happen when we bring different parts of the life sciences community together.

Vicki Loise, CEO of SLAS, noted that the organization is excited to close out the year in London alongside ELRIG and One Nucleus. Sanj Kumar, CEO of ELRIG, added that the collaboration is founded on a shared belief that great science thrives in strong communities.
