Millions of vehicle owners across India will have the opportunity to resolve pending traffic challans at the National Lok Adalat scheduled for December 13, 2025. The Lok Adalats will offer reduced rates and potential cancellation of fines for minor traffic violations.
Lok Adalat December 2025 Registration: How to Apply Online
Individuals can register for the National Lok Adalat by following these steps:
- Visit the state’s official website of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
- Select the option for online application for Lok Adalat.
- Fill in the application form and upload required documents.
- Submit the form to receive a token number via email or phone.
Cases will be addressed based on the assigned token number. Applicants are required to bring all relevant documentation, including original vehicle papers and challan details for traffic-related issues.
At select locations, special benches will be established to facilitate walk-in settlements. Drivers are encouraged to check announcements from their local court or legal authorities for details on these arrangements.
Lok Adalat Token
Online registration is mandatory for participation. Following application submission, a token number and appointment letter specifying the date and time of appearance will be issued. Attendees must present the appointment letter, token, and relevant documents on the hearing day. Officials recommend arriving at least one hour prior to the scheduled time to avoid delays.
However, token registration procedures vary by court, and some Lok Adalat courts also permit walk-in settlements.
