However, adventurous beta testers have found that the feature can be switched on through a private feature flag. Once enabled, a floating icon appears at the top-left of any selected text. When a user hovers the pointer over this icon, it expands into a compact popover menu containing a variety of AI tools and contextual actions.

The interface offers an array of text-editing tools, including options to “Rewrite,” “Proofread,” and Edit with Siri, as well as a specific prompt asking, How does this sound?
