A man in his 30s has been arrested after cannabis with an estimated street value of €730,000 was seized in Dublin following an intelligence-led operation.

The operation, conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and the Revenue Customs Service, began yesterday with the stopping of a van in Tallaght. During the search, cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €700,000 was recovered.
A follow-up search resulted in the recovery of an additional €30,000 worth of cannabis herb.
The arrested man is currently being detained for questioning at a garda station in the Dublin region.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis. Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
