Total registered candidates under the old system stood at 4,172, with 3,620 attendees and 2,610 successful examinees, producing a 72.1% passing rate. Alexandria Governorate Standouts and Regional Metrics
Regional evaluations highlighted standout achievements in Alexandria governorate, where overall passing figures settled at 75.1% for the modern curriculum and 72.1% for the legacy framework, according to official figures released by the Ministry of Education. Among top regional performers, Saif Eldin Waseem Mosaad Hassan from Al-Liwa Mohamed Naguib School in Al-Agamy secured eighth place nationally in the scientific mathematics division with a score of 318.5, as detailed by regional coverage. Additionally, Yara Ayman Ahmed Mohamed captured tenth place in the literary tracks from Alexandria’s Alex School with 316 marks.

The overall passing rate for Al-Azhar secondary students reached 54.18%, with the scientific section achieving 61.53% (41,672 passes out of 67,724 attendees) and the literary section recording 45.83% (27,319 passes out of 59,614 attendees).
Habiba Reza Mohamed Mohamed Gabouba from Gharbia governorate topped the scientific division with a high score (646 marks). In the literary division, female students swept the top three national positions, led by Sama Hany Mohamed Abdel Moaty El-Mokhlaty from Beheira with 585 marks.
