Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have emphasized the necessity of continued communication to address pending issues and strengthen the Pakistan-Iran diplomatic dialogue.

Commitment to Regional Peace

During a 45-minute phone call, Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advancing regional peace. The two leaders stressed the importance of engaging in dialogue to resolve all pending matters between the two neighbors.

President Pezeshkian used the conversation to voice concerns regarding international relations, specifically warning of a “betrayal of diplomacy” by the United States.

Diplomatic Coordination

Parallel to the leadership talks, Foreign Minister Dar held a call with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi. During the exchange, Dar stressed the critical need for continued dialogue to resolve existing issues.

The coordinated efforts between the prime minister and the foreign ministry signal a prioritized push toward diplomatic stability and the resolution of bilateral tensions.
