Actor Salman Khan attended the 100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons event in Mumbai and reacted after Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat called him an inspiration for college students.

During the event, the RSS chief noted that college students emulate Khan’s fashion choices, stating, “What Salman Khan wears, college students do the same. Why they do it? ‘Because he is wearing it.’ Why is he wearing it? ‘I don’t know.'”

Khan responded by saying that fashion drives everything, both good and bad. He added that those who initiate fashion trends are considered trustworthy, excellent, and achievers within society.

Fans Hail ‘Trendsetter’

Social media users reacted positively to Bhagwat’s comment, with one fan stating Salman Khan has been a trendsetter since the 1990s. Others pointed to his influence on bodybuilding and style, referencing his “towel dance,” ripped jeans, and habit of tying shirts around his waist.

The RSS celebrated its centenary with a two-day lecture series, “100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons,” which concluded Sunday at the Nehru Centre Auditorium in Mumbai. The event also included Akshay Kumar, Pritam, Raveena Tandon, Ananya Panday, and Karan Johar among its attendees.
