A man is being treated in the hospital for burn injuries to his face and upper body following a Strabane Magistrates’ Court incident in Co Tyrone.
Police report that the attack occurred at approximately 10:52 am, when a suspect threw hot water over another man. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded and transported the victim for medical treatment.
Police Search for Suspect
The PSNI stated that the suspect fled the scene immediately following the attack. Police efforts are currently ongoing to identify, locate, and apprehend the individual.
Authorities are liaising with the Northern Ireland Courts and Tribunals Service as inquiries continue to establish exactly what occurred.
Police have appealed to anyone with information or footage of the suspect leaving the scene to contact them by calling 101, quoting reference 409 of 16/04/26.
