A teenager sustained serious injuries in a shooting in Ballymun, Dublin, on Sunday afternoon. GardaΓ are appealing for witnesses and information related to the incident, which occurred at St Margaretβs Park.
Ballymun Shooting Investigation
Emergency services responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 12:35pm. An adult male, aged in his late teens, was injured and transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene at St Margaretβs Park has been preserved for forensic examination. A Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed, and an incident room has been established at Ballymun Garda Station.
GardaΓ are requesting assistance from the public. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to come forward with information.
Investigators are also seeking camera footage β including dash-cam recordings β from the area of St Margaretβs Park between 11:30am and 1:30pm.
