The head of the Iraqi Artists Syndicate, Jabbar Jodi, considered the Arab Theater Festival the largest cultural event in Baghdad.
Judy told the (INA), that “the results obtained from the past 13 sessions are the activation of theatrical culture among its professionals, academics concerned with theatrical affairs, observers, and others,” stressing that “all the results are positive, which motivates the adoption of the data of the past sessions, and employing them in consolidating Results of the current fourteenth festival.
Judy, who is the coordinator of the Fourteenth Arab Theater Festival, which is being held by the Arab Theater Authority, in Baghdad during the period 10-18 January, added, “The current session is the largest cultural demonstration in the history of the festival, and Baghdad is a gateway to alliance in global spaces, and it is a welcoming atmosphere.” Iraqi artists are qualified to occupy it with genius aesthetic talents that are at the stake of Arab culture, the body, the union, and the department.”
He pointed out that “Iraq has an advanced theatrical peculiarity, and extremely bright, ever-giving lights that radiate over the Arab and international surroundings. It is the summit that everyone is trying to reach in order to gain the honor of achieving its creativity, considering that Iraqi theater is a unit of measurement for evaluating creativity in professional work, reception, criticism, and academic studies, in terms of “Whatever is given to Iraq excels,” noting that “in this festival, Iraq participates in five plays, three of which are in the competition and two are in parallel performances.”
