Today, Sunday, the Security Media Cell announced the details of the air strike on ISIS gang hideouts in Diyala.
The cell said in a statement received by the (INA), “The painful strikes continue through the intensive work of the armed forces to destroy the nests of terrorism and exact retribution against it, and with a distinguished operation that came with planning and follow-up by the targeting cell in the Joint Operations Command and with confirmed information from the National Intelligence Service, it was possible to Air Falcons, by planes F_16 Who destroyed important dens in the village of Al-Kubba in the Al-Waqf area in Diyala Governorate.”
He added, “A security force went out after the operation this morning, to search the targeted place, during which they found four bodies of members of ISIS terrorist gangs, as well as destroyed weapons and equipment. According to preliminary information, among the dead was the so-called military soldier who interrupted the criminal stop, Majeed Mayouf.”
The statement stressed that “the intersection of information and joint work by the security and intelligence services had a great impact in curbing the elements of ISIS gangs, who will not be safe in the land of Iraq, which produced heroes who know nothing but victory.”
