/ Al-Shorta Club team defeated Al-Minaa Club team with an unanswered goal in the third round of the Iraq Stars Football League, in the match that saw Al-Minaa participate with only seven players.

The match took place at Basra International Stadium at 9:30 pm today, Friday.

Al-Shorta scored their goal in the fifth minute through Mohannad Ali in the first half. Minutes later, the referee ended the match, specifically in the tenth minute of the match, due to the lack of equality after the Al-Minaa player was injured, leaving six players on the field.

The match witnessed a strange situation in which Al-Minaa Club included seven players out of 11 players because it did not have the players and Al-Ittihad refused to postpone the match, so one of the Al-Minaa players was injured, perhaps with a prior plan to avoid punishment in the event of withdrawal, and after the Al-Minaa player was unable to return, the referee of the match, Mohamed Salah, ended the confrontation, declaring the victory of the police. With a goal without a response due to lack of parity, as the law does not allow the continuation of play with less than seven players for both teams.
