During the third evening of the Paléo Festival in Nyon, rapper Disiz joined Theodora on the Grande Scène for a performance of their hit duo Melodrama.
The appearance highlighted a lineup that has prioritized gender parity, with 55% of the 103 announced artists being women, according to festival organizers.
Theodora and Disiz Take the Grande Scène
The collaboration between Theodora and Disiz served as a focal point for the festival’s third night. The track Melodrama,
which the two performed together, previously reached the top of the French Top Singles chart, where it maintained the number one position for 23 weeks, surpassing records held by Pharrell Williams’ Happy
and the song Shallow
by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, as reported by 24heures.
Theodora’s set also included an interactive moment where she moved into the first row to sign fan placards. Earlier in the evening, Disiz performed solo, drawing a large crowd despite the heat with a setlist that included tracks like Sublime,
Casino,
and Rencontre.
During his performance, he engaged the audience by stating that this was no carnival and he was there to have a good time, before performing Amsterdam.
Festival Programming and 2026 Milestones
The 2026 edition of the Paléo Festival has drawn attention for its emphasis on gender representation. Programmer Jacques Monnier noted that for the first time in the event’s history, the lineup features more women than men, with women making up 55% of the 103 booked artists, according to laliberte.ch.
The broader 2026 program includes a diverse mix of international and local acts. Katy Perry is scheduled for a performance that represents her only Swiss date on The Lifetimes Tour,
a show described by programmer Dany Hassenstein as a grandiose
production. The festival also marks the fifth appearance for the British new wave group The Cure, who first played the event in 1985. Other notable acts for the 2026 season include Gorillaz, Morcheeba, and Twenty One Pilots.
Operational Recognition and Festival Standards
Paléo continues to manage its scale, which involves hosting approximately 250,000 people over six days, as noted by letemps.ch. In January 2025, the festival was recognized by the Association Yourope as the best large festival in Europe.

To maintain service quality, the festival employs a team of secret testers who evaluate food stands based on specific criteria. The festival grounds also feature ongoing documentation of the event’s culture, such as the work of photographer Timon Bachmann, who has been documenting festival-goers since 2018 and recently published a collection covering the years 2019 through 2025.
Performance Highlights on the Véga Stage
While the Grande Scène hosted high-profile rap collaborations, the Véga stage saw varied performances throughout the week. On Thursday, the artist Miki, who has accumulated 70 million streams in 2025, invited a fan on stage to sing particule
with her. Later that evening, Morcheeba performed for a crowd that included Alain Berset, the current secretary general of the Council of Europe, who was spotted at the concert by reporters.
