Trump Evacuated From White House Dinner Following Gunshots

President Trump announced he will not alter his professional duties following a seemingly politically motivated act of violence, asserting that the White House Correspondents’ Dinner will be rescheduled to be “bigger and better.”

Speaking at a news conference at the White House alongside FBI Director Kash Patel and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, Trump stated he would not allow “sick people” or “horrible thugs” to change the fabric of his life or the way he conducts his job.

Trump noted that while he expressed a strong desire to return to the ballroom to resume the event, law enforcement officials recommended against it.

“We’re not going to let anybody take over our society. We’re not going to cancel things out,” Trump said.

The President further explained that if he were to limit his engagements or change his lifestyle out of fear, he would end up not doing anything.
