Two copper medals for Iraqi Taekwondo at the Asian Championship in Pakistan

/ On Monday, the Iraqi Taekwondo team won two bronze medals in the fifth Asian Open Taekwondo Championship (G2), which was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, with the participation of 30 continental teams.

The player, Saif Taher, won the Bronze Medal in the 80 kg competition, after defeating players from Pakistan and Afghanistan in the first rounds, then losing to his competitor from South Korea, who is ranked fourth in the world, to be crowned with the Bronze Medal.

The player, Muhammad Nazim, won the bronze medal in the 58 kg competition, after defeating two players from Pakistan and a third player from Kazakhstan, then losing to a player from Kazakhstan as well, to be satisfied with the bronze medal as he is second in the tournament for Iraq.
