/ On Wednesday, the Al-Tadamon and Al-Ahrar basketball teams achieved their first two victories with the start of the Youth League Championship for the 2023-2024 season, which is hosted by Dohuk Governorate in the Kurdistan Region for the period from 1-5 of this month.
The Iraqi Basketball Federation stated in a statement received by Agency that seven clubs participated in the tournament, and were divided into two groups. The first included the Al-Furat, Bright Future, Al-Tadamon, and Al-Ahrar clubs, while the second included the Darbandikhan, Dohuk, and Diwaniyah clubs.
The results of the first day resulted in the victory of Al-Tadamon Club over Al-Mustaqbal Al-Mashreq with a score of 47-27 points, and the Al-Ahrar team also won over Al-Furat with a score of 64-45 points.
