A 73-year-old woman was found dead at Block 15 Farrer Park Road on Saturday, Dec. 23. Police are investigating the incident but do not currently suspect foul play.
Woman Found Dead at Foot of Block in Farrer Park
Police responded to a call for assistance at Block 15 Farrer Park Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. The woman was discovered lying motionless at the base of the building.
A Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
A witness, identified as “R,” reported seeing an uncovered body and “a lot of blood on the ground” while on the way to work at 6:45 a.m. A police tent was being set up at the time.
By 11:55 a.m., the body had been removed, though the witness noted a solitary shoe remained at the location. “Condolences to the family of the deceased,” R added, stating it was “heartbreaking at Christmas time.”
Police investigations are ongoing.
