Zendaya said, according to an interview with TODAY.com. She explained that many young people and children connect deeply with Peter Parker’s character, noting that the responsibility requires knowing that children view him as the literal hero. I think that he’s just handled that weight with such grace,
she added. She further noted that children do not realize he is just an actor playing a part: Little kids don’t know that he’s not Spider-Man, and I think he wears that with pride and it’s nice to know that the person wearing the suit is a good person and cares.
Holland, who has portrayed the character since first appearing in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, returned the compliment during the red carpet events. The Marvel franchise holds deep personal significance for the couple, who first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. Holland told Esquire that his family was present at their secret wedding, while Zendaya playfully deflected a fan’s proposal on a red carpet by telling them they were too late.

Zendaya’s comments followed shortly after Holland displayed his real-life superhero qualities during an appearance on nbcmiami.com. The actor surprised students at New York City’s P.S. 37, teaching them how movie stunts are performed and helping them create a superhero short film titled Superkids.
Holland directed and appeared alongside the students to teach them about teamwork, creativity, and the craft behind stunts.
The global press tour also celebrated high-fashion appearances and star-studded red carpets.
