Five adults were taken to hospital, three with life-threatening injuries, following an incident in North York late Monday night. One person has been arrested in connection with the incident.

North York Stabbing Investigation

Toronto police were called to the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue West at around 9:45 p.m. for reports of unknown trouble at a residential address on Plum Tree Way, near Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West.

Officers found multiple people who had been injured. Three of the victims sustained stab wounds, according to police. Paramedics transported five adults to hospital: three with life-threatening injuries, one with minor injuries, and another for assessment.

The gender of the patients is not known at this time. The investigation is ongoing, and police have a large presence in the vicinity. Anyone with information is asked to contact Toronto police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
