Malaysian influencer Bryan Wee, also known as Bai En, is seeking to “hire” a girlfriend to bring home for Chinese New Year and spend Valentine’s Day with, offering a modest payment for her time.
Seeking a Temporary Girlfriend
Wee announced on Instagram that he is looking for a woman to accompany him to his hometown and present as his girlfriend to his parents during the festive season. He is also seeking someone to spend Valentine’s Day with, promising a dinner date.
Wee rose to fame for portraying female characters online, but announced in January 2026 he will return to his male identity.
Financial Details and Expectations
While Wee will cover the cost of dinner, he has set a budget of RM30 to RM50 (S$9.70 to S$16.16), stating that his date will be responsible for any additional expenses. He also plans to charge S$16 for petrol and the return trip to his kampung.
Wee outlined specific expectations for his temporary girlfriend, including addressing his parents respectfully and assisting his mother with household chores. He also requested that she refrain from excessive phone use and actively participate in family activities.
Regarding attire, Wee offered to lend dresses from his cross-dressing collection, with the condition that they be washed and returned. He emphasized the importance of appearing as a genuine couple during reunion dinner, advising his date to serve him food to avoid suspicion.
Assurances and Compensation
Wee addressed potential concerns about physical intimacy, assuring his date that he will not make any advances, referencing his past experience portraying female characters. In return for her services, he is offering a payment of RM50 (S$16.16) and a bouquet of roses reportedly worth RM100 (S$32.40).
Despite the unusual nature of the offer, numerous individuals have expressed interest in the comments section of his post.
