Taylor Announces Shadow Ministry
Angus Taylor has unveiled the Coalition’s frontbench, naming Tim Wilson as shadow treasurer. The National Party has been returned to its previous positions within the shadow cabinet.
Hastie has been appointed as the shadow minister for defence, while Price will take on the role of shadow minister for Indigenous Australians.
Taylor described the new frontbench as a “fresh beginning” for the Liberal-National coalition. He emphasized the party’s readiness to engage in debate over economic policy.
The shadow ministry also includes several other key appointments, signaling the direction Taylor intends to take the party in opposition.
