Eli Wessel and Hudson Kutchma eventually secured the two advancing spots with pars on the second playoff hole, the par-3 fifth.

This marked the third time Woods has competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur, and his best performance to date. He previously failed to reach match play in 2024 at Oakland Hills with scores of 82 and 80, and again last year at Trinity Forest with scores of 80 and 74, according to Yahoo.
