Arab and foreign desire to enter into a partnership with the Iraq Fund for Development »

Advisor to the Prime Minister for Investment and Head of the Iraq Fund for Development, Muhammad al-Najjar, confirmed today, Monday, that there are negotiations with several Arab and foreign countries that have expressed their desire to enter into a partnership with the Iraq Fund for Development, while identifying the most prominent sectors in which the Fund works.

Al-Najjar told the (INA): “There is a large group of countries that have expressed a great desire to enter into a partnership with the Iraq Fund for Development to implement projects in the country, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the countries of Qatar, the Emirates, and Italy, and negotiations are currently underway with them,” noting, “There are also negotiations with Japan for investment cooperation.”
Al-Najjar added, “There is talk with 6 or 7 sovereign development funds around the world to enter into projects with the Iraq Fund for Development in the six sectors in which the Iraq Fund for Development works: digital transformation, investment, housing, education, manufacturing and agriculture.”
