An All-Star Irish Lineup Rallies for the Holidays
Arthur Gourounlian has brought together a lineup of singers and the Newbridge Gospel Choir to record a Christmas charity single titled Christmas Twice a Year, rte.ie reported. Set for release on November 1, the track raises funds to support children and families cared for by the LauraLynn and Barretstown charities.
Irish Singers Lead the Festive Project
The festive project features lead vocals from Daniel O’Donnell, Una Healy, Niamh Kavanagh, and Mary Byrne.
Fatherhood and the Genesis of the Track
Proceeds from the download and streaming efforts go directly toward LauraLynn and Barretstown. Gourounlian explained that his own life as a parent shaped the creative direction of the song. Growing up in Armenia without celebrating Christmas, he wanted to establish new traditions.
