Automotive heritage often stays confined to museum floors, but Aston Martin is putting its history back on the road with a new collection of bespoke builds. According to reporting by Ronan Glon for Msn, the British luxury car manufacturer has reached into its archives to resurrect five distinct exterior paint colors originating from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.

The revival spans multiple decades of the company’s design history, with each hue carefully assigned to a complementary modern model. The collection features Pale Primrose, Pacific Blue, Tudor Green, Winchester Blue, and Mink Silver.
Pale Primrose, a vibrant yellow, first appeared on the cover of the 1958 DB4 sales brochure and later inspired a miniature model by toy manufacturer Corgi. For this heritage release, the color coats a modern DB12 Volante. Meanwhile, the DB12 coupe wears Pacific Blue, a shade also introduced with the DB4 in 1958 before rolling out on subsequent DB5 and DB6 models.
Moving into the 1970s, Tudor Green takes a dark stance reminiscent of British Racing Green, painted specifically onto the Vanquish. Winchester Blue serves as another 1970s throwback, currently styled on the Vantage. Finally, the Vantage Roadster showcases Mink Silver, a pale metallic tone popularized by the DB6 in the 1960s that subtly blurs the line between silver and pink. According to brand data cited by Msn, over 100 units of the original DB6 were finished in Mink.

Collectors looking to secure one of these archive-inspired builds will have to direct their attention to the American West Coast. All five Heritage Edition vehicles are designated as strict one-offs and are available exclusively through Aston Martin Newport Beach in California.
Beyond the resurrected exterior paints, the vehicles receive subtle bespoke touches from the Q division. Each car is outfitted with redesigned door sill plates featuring discreet one of five
lettering, cementing their limited production status. While pricing has not been publicly disclosed, bespoke paint programs of this caliber historically command substantial premiums over standard factory specifications.
