While reports from Bulgaria ON AIR indicate that officials have not ruled out any possibilities—including accident, suicide, or homicide—no official cause of death has been confirmed by the authorities. Investigators are currently conducting site inspections and gathering evidence at the residential skyscraper where the fatal fall occurred. Her uncle confirmed to the media outlet G1 that she fell from the balcony of her apartment.
Bilhar was a well-known presence on social media, maintaining an Instagram account with over 20,000 followers. Her death was confirmed by her mother, Darla Bilhar, who has traveled to Dubai to monitor the progress of the investigation and oversee the procedures for transporting her daughter’s body back to Brazil.
Diplomatic Support and Family Response
The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has intervened to assist the family during this period. The Ministry confirmed that it is monitoring the case closely and remains available to the family to provide necessary consular support through the Brazilian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. Similarly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates issued a statement confirming that it is following the case and remains at the disposal of the family to ensure appropriate consular assistance.
Following the tragedy, Bilhar’s mother issued a public appeal for respect regarding her daughter. In messages shared online, Darla Bilhar addressed individuals who were making accusations and comments about her daughter, without knowing the whole story.
Several days after the incident, Darla Bilhar posted a video on social media in which she appeared visibly shaken, stating that she is experiencing the most difficult period of her life. She emphasized that she decided to speak publicly because her daughter can no longer defend herself against what she described as accusations, insulting comments, and unfounded stories that began to circulate after her death.
