Bridgie Doona, a resident of Ballycroy, County Mayo, Ireland, has passed away peacefully at the Mayo Hospice in Castlebar at the age of 95. Her death occurred on Sunday, December 14th, surrounded by her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter, her parents Ellen and Neil, brother Thomas, granddaughter Kathleen Corrigan, and son-in-law Michael McGinty.
Bridgie is survived by her sons J.J. Noel, Peter, Thomas, and Michael, and daughters Mary, Kathleen, Nora, and Bridget. She is also remembered by her daughters-in-law Liz, Tricia, and Maureen, sons-in-law Tom and Mark, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild, as well as her sister Kathleen Casey, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing will take place in Sweeneyâs Funeral Home, Ballycroy (F28KF20) on Tuesday evening from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Funeral Arrangements
Removal from her residence will occur on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM, arriving at The Church of the Holy Family, Ballycroy for Funeral Mass at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Fahy cemetery.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on the Holy Family Church Ballycroy Facebook page.
