The winning BukSU team consisted of Daniel James Abobo, Erin Zoe Regalado, Rowell Gerald Gabia, Sharmagne Faith Gamboa, Gwyneth Miasco, and Hazel Ann Carillo.

The competition included three preliminary challenges and a major challenge, testing the teams’ analytical thinking, technical competence, and creativity. Both teams achieved equal scores in the final tally, requiring judges to conduct a final evaluation to determine the winner.

The AI Challenge served as a platform for participants to demonstrate the application of artificial intelligence in addressing real-world problems across various industries.

According to a post on BukSU’s IT Department social media page, the team “remained committed to developing solutions that are sustainable, feasible, and innovative—showing that technology is most powerful when it addresses real-world needs.”
