Catherine Gallagher of Cragaballa, Killasser, Swinford, has passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital on March 7, 2026, at the age of 97.

She was predeceased by her husband, John, her son Michael, grandsons Anthony, Michael, and Patrick, and her parents Michael and Margaret Gallagher, along with four siblings.
Catherine is survived by her children Marian, Áine, Seán, and Kathleen, as well as her sons-in-law Padraig, Tony, and Jimmy, and daughter-in-law Teresa. She is also remembered by her nine grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, neighbors, and friends.
Reposing will take place at her residence in Cragaballa, Killasser, Swinford (F12CT80) this Wednesday evening, March 11th, from 5pm until 8pm.
Removal will occur on Thursday morning, March 12th, to All Saints Church, Killasser for Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Killasser Cemetery.
