The Latvian crane manufacturer is offering its services as a contract manufacturer for companies requiring crane parts and assemblies for both upgrade and repair projects, as well as new equipment.
RIKON Expands Contract Manufacturing Services
RIKON stated its motto, “we build cranes,” reflects a commitment to all aspects of crane construction. The company manufactures complete cranes under its own brand and supports other crane manufacturers by producing complex components and structures.
Completed long travel assemblies built for MIP, a subsidiary of Track Solution Group, for a terminal in Dunkirk, France, are pictured. RIKON said this project, involving full-cycle design and fabrication of a core subsystem, demonstrates its role as a reliable industrial partner for European leaders.
The company specializes in heavy, precision-engineered components, including travel bogies, complete travel mechanisms, boom sections, portal legs, welded structures, and custom-built sub-assemblies.
RIKON’s facility covers 35,000 square meters, with over 10,500 square meters dedicated to production, assembly, painting, and testing. The facility is equipped for a complete cycle, starting from metal plate cutting. Its location at the Freeport of Riga includes a private quay, enabling direct loading of large components onto vessels for global delivery.
Track Solutions Group established MIP to provide equipment maintenance and support to industrial clients, including ports, where the group installs and repairs crane rails.
