The pledges were made during high-level meetings between Pakistani and Chinese officials in recent days.

Advancing CPEC in a Secure Manner
Officials from both countries expressed their determination to advance the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in a secure manner. CPEC, a flagship project of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, is vital for Pakistan’s economic growth and regional connectivity.

Pakistan reiterated its stance that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. This reaffirmation was communicated through the Foreign Office, underscoring Pakistan’s long-standing “One China” policy.
