The draft voters’ list for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Kerala was published today, with officials reporting 91.35 percent of enumeration forms have been collected.

Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U Khelkar announced the publication of the draft list and the completion of form collection. Hearings regarding objections and claims concerning the draft list will begin immediately and continue for one month, concluding on January 22, 2026.
Officials noted a lower registration rate among eligible voters aged 18-30, currently around 60 percent. To address this, special awareness campaigns targeting school and college students will be launched to encourage increased participation in the electoral process.
