The French authorities hope to obtain permits “by Monday morning at the latest” to re-fly the Indian passenger plane that has been detained since Thursday evening at Vatry Airport in eastern France after it was stopped on suspicion of human trafficking operations.

The Public Prosecution in Paris said in a press statement that the judiciary allowed the plane to take off from the airport.
Local authorities stated that this decision “allows us to consider redirecting passengers in the waiting area” at the airport, without specifying a destination.
She added, “Accordingly, the competent authorities of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation are seeking to obtain the necessary licenses to re-take off the plane,” which arrived in France with 303 passengers on board.
She noted, “This is scheduled to take place on Monday morning at the latest.”
The head of the Bar Association in Chalon-en-Champagne, François Procureur, announced during a press conference that the plane with passengers on board would take off “towards India,” indicating that he had obtained this information from the state’s lawyer.
It is likely that these Indians, two of whom are still in police custody, will be quickly deported, as the judiciary on Sunday canceled the procedures for detaining three of them, which continued for three days in the airport hall. After that, customs waived the procedures related to the other passengers.
