Public Wake and Funeral Arrangements in Dublin
The funeral service will take place the following day on Tuesday, August 4th, starting at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin city centre. While the service is open to the public, organizers anticipate extremely limited access inside the building due to the high volume of mourners expected to attend. To accommodate crowds, a public address system will be set up outside the cathedral, and the funeral will also be streamed online via RTÉ News and RIP.ie.
Music during the services will be performed by Hansard’s friends and family. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests that donations be made directly to the Simon Community and Ukrainian Action.
