Director Kazem Al-Nassar confirmed today, Thursday, that honoring the artist at the Arab Theater Festival is a great incentive for his Arab importance, pointing out that the capital, Baghdad, was able to embrace this distinguished theatrical achievement.
Al-Nassar told the (INA): “I have won awards and been honored in many forums, but my honor at the Arab Theater Festival comes as a great incentive due to its Arab importance,” stressing that “this initiative restores the artist’s self-confidence and indicates his social value.”
He added, “Iraqi theater ebbs and flows,” noting that “the capital, Baghdad, was able to embrace this distinguished theatrical achievement, with the arrival of well-established names of Arab artists and researchers to witness Iraqi art on its soil in the field, which creates a positive situation, influence, and competition.”
Al-Nassar expressed his happiness “at honoring an elite group of Iraqi artists, within the fourteenth session of the Arab Theater Festival, which is held by the Arab Theater Authority, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the Artists Syndicate, and the Cinema and Theater Department.”
