Today, Wednesday, our national football team concludes its training camp in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, in preparation for participation in the Asian Nations Finals, which will begin the day after tomorrow, Friday, in the State of Qatar, and will continue until the tenth of next February.
The media coordinator for the national team, Muhammad Imad, told the (INA), today, Wednesday: “The team’s delegation will head to Qatar tomorrow, the eleventh of this month, to participate in the Asian Nations competitions, which will include 24 teams.”
Imad added, “The technical staff led by coach Jesus Casas is satisfied with the Al-Rafidain Lions camp in the Emirati capital, and what the players presented during the test match against the South Korean national team, which is one of the most prominent candidates for the Asian title.”
It is noteworthy that our national team will begin its matches in the continental finals by meeting its Indonesian counterpart next Monday, then facing Japan four days later, and concluding the group stage against Vietnam on the twenty-fourth of January.
