Switching carriers requires a 36-month payment plan where full savings are distributed as monthly bill credits, according to Mashable. Leaving T-Mobile before the three-year contract concludes results in charges for the remaining balance. Customers also pay local sales tax on the full retail value upfront, alongside a standard $35 device connection fee per line at checkout.
For existing device owners, T-Mobile has introduced trade-in offers. Users can secure the iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max for free by trading in an eligible phone in any condition while enrolled on an Experience Beyond plan.

Outright purchasing costs remain high across the market. Retailers like Amazon and Argos charge the full £1,199 for the iPhone 18 Pro without discounts. In the UK, early Black Friday promotions have emerged ahead of the November 27 kickoff date. Mobiles.co.uk is bundling 500GB of data for the price of 100GB with the iPhone 18 Pro. Meanwhile, Sky offers an unlimited data tier discounted from £28 to £21, bringing the monthly cost to £59 on a 36-month commitment with a £12 upfront fee.
