The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the death of a reservist and reported multiple injuries among IDF soldiers in Southern Lebanon following recent combat operations and a drone strike.
- Sgt. Maj. (res.) Eyal Oriel Bianco was killed during operations in Southern Lebanon.
- Eight soldiers sustained moderate wounds from a Hezbollah drone attack.
- J.D. Vance has accused Tehran of “economic terrorism.”
Casualties in Southern Lebanon
The military has cleared for publication the name of Sgt. Maj. (res.) Eyal Oriel Bianco, who was killed during operations in Southern Lebanon.
In a separate engagement, eight soldiers were moderately wounded after being targeted by a drone launched by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Political Tensions with Iran
Parallel to the military developments, J.D. Vance has accused Tehran of engaging in “economic terrorism.”
Vance further asserted that the “ball is in Iran’s court” regarding the current situation.
