The Turkish police said in a statement that the quarrel between the Turkish man, Cihan Inan, and his son, Bora, occurred at approximately nine o’clock last night inside an apartment located on Street 3080 in the Boziaka area. The Turkish man is 46 years old, while his son is 20 years old.

The police added that Bora, the son of the Turkish man, stabbed his father with a knife several times due to verbal arguments for various reasons, and then he called the emergency teams and explained to them what happened inside the house after he revealed his address to the emergency teams and literally told them: “Maybe he died” before fleeing the scene of the accident. .
Social media users in Turkey asked about the reasons that prompted the young Turkish man to kill his father, and most of them included the phrase “Maybe he died” in their posts in which they discussed the incident.
Although emergency and ambulance teams tried to save the Turkish man, he died hours after being stabbed with a knife by his son.

Hours ago, the police were also able to arrest Bora, who admitted that he had stabbed his father to death due to disagreements between them related to a quarrel that occurred between his father and his mother about a month ago.
Bora had stabbed his father three times in the back, which caused his death despite medical intervention.
He said in his initial statement, according to the police, that his father insulted his mother weeks ago, which caused verbal arguments to break out between him and his father yesterday, before he stabbed him with a knife and killed him.
The incident occurred while Bora’s mother was not at home, as he was alone with his father when the quarrel broke out between them, according to his statement to the police.
The police also stated that the body of the Turkish man was transferred to the forensic morgue in Izmir after the investigation conducted by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and police teams at the scene of the accident and following the detention of the victim’s son, with whom the authorities are continuing investigations until now in preparation for transferring him to court.
