Digital influencer Nicolly Evangelista do Carmo, widely known as Nick Frazão, was arrested on August 3, 2026, in Paciência, Rio de Janeiro. Police arrested the 34-year-old on a judicial warrant linking her to robberies involving victims lured in São Cristóvão, uncovering a luxury vehicle and weapons inside her residence.
The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested the digital influencer Nicolly Evangelista do Carmo, known to her followers as Nick Frazão, in a luxury home located in the neighborhood of Paciência, in the western zone of the capital. The operation, executed on August 3, 2026, was led by the 17th Police Precinct based in São Cristóvão, with operational support from the 28th DP in Praça Seca and the 44th DP in Inhaúma.
Investigators stated that Frazão is suspected of targeting men after arranging dates in the northern zone of the city. According to police reports detailing the investigation, the case that triggered the latest warrant began when a victim agreed to meet for a sexual encounter near Rua Ceará in São Cristóvão and entered a blue Hyundai Creta.
Assault, Theft, and Evidence Recovered in Paciência
The investigation outlines a pattern where victims who changed their minds or attempted to cancel agreements were subjected to violence. In the primary complaint investigated by the 17th precinct, the victim recounted that he was assaulted and pushed out of the vehicle after deciding not to proceed with the meeting. Frazão allegedly fled the scene in the car, taking a gold chain valued at approximately R$ 14 mil.
When officers executed the arrest warrant at the high-standard residence in Paciência, they discovered a blue Hyundai Creta (model 2022) parked on the property. Inside the automobile, police seized a Barbie-themed baseball bat, a retractable baton, pepper spray, and a knife. Authorities noted that the vehicle matches the description provided by victims across at least two separate criminal inquiries handled by the São Cristóvão station.
Contrast Between Luxury Digital Presence and Police Record
Before her detention, Frazão maintained an active profile on Instagram with more than 100,000 followers, where she shared images of international travel to destinations such as Paris, Dubai, and the Maldives, alongside lifestyle content and luxury purchases. She also hosted an online podcast, serving as presenter for PodTmais+.
Court and police records show that Frazão’s history with law enforcement spans roughly fifteen years, with prior arrests or investigations involving theft, gang association, rufianism, and robbery with use of a white weapon. Previous legal actions include an 8-year, 4-month, and 24-day prison sentence stemming from a 2019 robbery on Avenida Mem de Sá, as well as an arrest in Guarulhos, São Paulo, in 2014 following a warrant issued in Rio.
Ongoing Inquiries and Legal Representation
The 17th DP is continuing its inquiries to determine if the influencer operated alongside accomplices in other patrimonial crimes committed around Quinta da Boa Vista and other parts of São Cristóvão. Police confirmed that a victim successfully identified Frazão through a photograph shown at the precinct.
As of the initial police briefings, law enforcement agencies indicated that they had not yet located legal counsel to comment on behalf of the defense regarding the current allegations.
