/ The Iraqi women’s outdoor soccer team suffered the heaviest loss since its participation against its Lebanese counterpart, with a score of 0-7, in the third round of the fourth West Asian Federation Championship for women’s national teams, which is being held in Jordan.

The match took place at Prince Mohammed Stadium in the Jordanian city of Zarqa, at five o’clock in the evening, Baghdad time.

The first half ended in favor of the Lebanese national team 0-2, and the two goals came from Lea Haj Ali in the 35th minute, and Nagham Abu Khalil in the 45th minute.

In the second half, Lebanon scored 5 more goals through Serena Mansour (52), Ssila Iskandar (56), Leah Hashem (62 – p), Leah Haj Ali (70), and Ayana Rizkallah (73).

The Iraqi women’s national team lost its first match against its Syrian counterpart, 0-4, and the second match against the Jordanian national team, 0-6, in the fourth edition of the West Asian Federation Cup, leaving the tournament in last place without scoring any goals.

It is noteworthy that the tournament was held under the general league system, with the participation of the teams of Jordan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
