Maysan Governor Ali Douai Lazim laid the foundation stone for the project to establish a stadium in the university district area of the city of Amara, with the aim of covering all sports activities and accommodating (500) spectators, which is being implemented within the plan and allocations of Maysan Governorate (Emergency Support for Food Security and Development Law of 2022).
The Governor of Maysan, Ali Douai, told the (INA): “The project occupies an area of (13,000) square meters and contains a football field with an area of (78 m The stadium has stands and a roof for spectators that can accommodate (500) spectators and lighting, and is equipped with a (250 kva) generator and an electricity transformer, in addition to a (BRC) fence with a height of (5) meters, a water sprinkler system, fences, and a resting platform.”
