The second round of the group stage of the Asian Football Cup, taking place in the Qatari capital, Doha, begins today, Wednesday, with two matches from the first group.
In the first match, the Lebanese and Chinese teams will meet at 5:30 pm at Al Thumama Stadium.
The Lebanese national team hopes to compensate against China after losing the first match to Qatar, to maintain its hopes of competing for the nomination in the first group, and the Cedar Men know that the match will not be easy, but they are determined to continue the struggle to remain in the Asian tournament.
At 8:30 pm, Al Bayt Stadium will host the second match between Qatar and Tajikistan.
The defending champion, the Qatari national team, completed its preparations for its second match in the group stage and set its sights on the three points to ensure qualification to the round of 16.
The Qatar national team leads Group A after the end of the first round of the Asian Championship, with 3 points, followed by the Tajikistan national team second with one point, China third with one point, and Lebanon in fourth place with no points.
