Minor Driver Injures Two Elderly Brothers in Hyderabad Car Crash

Sunday afternoon traffic in Hyderabad’s Borabanda neighborhood turned chaotic when a minor behind the wheel plowed through parked vehicles and pedestrians. According to reporting from Andhrajyothy, 17-year-old Ali Ahmed Khan drove into the Karmika Nagar area in a car and abruptly lost control of the vehicle.

Brothers Raj Kumar, 60, and Prabhakar, 55, noticed the erratic vehicle approaching as they traveled down the road and attempted to steer their bike toward the roadside to escape harm. Despite their evasive action, the car careened directly toward them, flattening seven parked two-wheelers in a path of destruction before striking the siblings.

Collision Leaves Elder Brother Trapped Beneath Rear Wheel

The impact threw one of the brothers away from the vehicle with minor injuries, while the other took the brunt of the collision. According to Andhrajyothy, the car drove entirely over the second man, leaving the rear tire resting directly on the victim’s chest. Nearby residents rushed to the scene in large numbers, managing with great difficulty to lift the car physically off the ground to pull the trapped man out from underneath.

Both victims received medical treatment after being transported to separate hospitals. The surrounding two-wheelers parked along the street suffered severe damage during the incident.

Locals Apprehend Driver and Police Launch Investigation

Following the crash, the teenage driver attempted to flee the scene. Bystanders pursued and captured him, dragging him back to the site of the accident and assaulting him. Locals also attacked another individual who attempted to defend the minor driver.

Madhuranagar police registered a case and initiated an investigation into the crash. Police stated that the teenager had taken the car out to drive after cleaning it and finding the keys left inside. Security cameras in the area captured the entire sequence of events on video, and the footage quickly circulated widely on social media platforms.
