He added, “Minister of Commerce Alaa Al-Jubouri confirmed that the Prime Minister’s directives will be a new beginning for the work of the ration card and meet the requirements of the poor, especially in light of the need for food supplies in light of the Corona pandemic and the health ban imposed by the Supreme Committee for Health and Safety.”“.
He continued, “Preparations are being made in the Ministry of Commerce to distribute a complete meal among all those covered by the ration card system, which includes the basic items: sugar, rice, and flour, while the Ministry will distribute a quantity of zero-grain flour among all Iraqi families during the holy month of Ramadan,” noting that “the Ministry Next week, she will prepare a clear study to the Prime Minister’s Office that includes her vision for developing the ration card system and the need for exceptions that match the needs of the people in accordance with the Prime Minister’s directives, to bypass the ration card project, which was exposed to major problems during the past year as a result of the failure to approve the state’s general budget, as well as the lack of allocations.
