Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp commented today, Friday, on the injury that Mohamed Salah suffered yesterday against Ghana.
Klopp said, during a press conference: “We do not know anything about the nature of Salah’s injury, but we spoke last night, and there was an initial diagnosis, but they will provide us with information later.”
He added, “At that moment there was shock because we did not see what he was exposed to, but he felt pain, and we all know that it is rare for him to leave injured.”
He continued: “So far we have no information, and the player will undergo an MRI, and then we will see.”
Salah suffered “an injury to the left thigh muscle while participating with his country’s national team against Ghana, yesterday, Thursday, in the second round of the African Cup of Nations group stage, and was forced to leave the field.”
